The Guitar man
The guitar man throws out another tune
As the clairvoyant lady looks to another rune
She twists my thoughts a bit too soon
Then rings them out under a bitter-sweet moon
And in my head, the freaks are out tonight
And my mind’s on the wind, like a bird in flight
But, somewhere out in this same moonlit night
My lady waits for me, it just ain’t right
But, the sideshow’s got my soul again
So it’s with her that I must remain
It’s enough to drive a man insane
And the tears of the clown fall down like rain.

This has a pleasing, lyrical quality to it, Talisman. Would indeed make a great song;-)
