Dear Emperor Aurelius,
I am writing to you, humbly, to enquire, if our minds are born free, at least, partially, and power did not corrupt yours, is it possible that you, great man, could also have transcended poverty and disease? Or is it that poverty and disease could have reduced you to a miserable, hate-filled wretched object? Like so many, before and after.
Regrettably.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely and faithfully,
dear me xx
