Crooked Jack

There was a boy called Jack
He had a crooked back
And when he ever bent down low
His crooked back went CRACK!
One day he took his crooked cow
Into the city square
He met a crippled crooked man
With pockets that were bare
The crooked man told crooked Jack
He had some ‘magic beans’
He told him they would grow up high
Into a magic tree
So crooked Jack said with a smile
That he would gladly sell
Then journeyed home with magic beans
(And a loaf of bread as well)
When Jack got home his Ma went mad
She threw them out the door
She hollered, “You’ve been ripped off lad!”
Then knocked him to the floor
When Jack woke up he went outside
And saw a small green shoot
He poured some water on the plant
It grew and Grew and GREW!
It grew much higher than the house
Much higher than the trees
It grew right past the pretty clouds
And grew some pop-pod peas
Jack climbed the beanstalk twenty miles
Such sweat was on his brow
He reached the top – his back gave way
And poor Jack shouted, “OW!”
Working progress.... :S
