Tulloch

As the ashes conclude their smoking
the scene is that of despair and carnage.
A hospital ward of 12 wandering souls
haunted by the stench of smoke -
it lingering on clothes, in nostrils.
The Tulloch Phoenix did not rise
the ashes not parting until
bulldozers forced irreparable finality.
