A Soldier's Soliloquy

The sounds are defeaning...
The ground from which we stand
Will be littered with our blood
Now we run as the scorched sky watch us
Water is our fuel as our bodies fall
They will destroy the survivors
Bombs will esplode right in our eyes
Tonight, my brothers, prepare for a downfall
Only fear may accompany death...
break your desires...
Our bodies await for their bayonets
But still the stories of our
Heroic struggle lingers
Our bodies may scrample and decay on the grass
Yet our honor will be there...
Our valor and bravery will rage on
I hope my sons remember this
I hope they'll understand why we must do this
It's over...hear the cries of their deaths
It's pain in my ears...
Here comes their envious tanks,
firing in our concrete walls
Thick smoke choke our faces
yet we must push on
Reload! We will not be insulted
by their smiles of lust
some of us may hit the dust
yet we are the warriors of god
beg the bullets for mercy...
