I love watching Foyle’s War, I don’t watch it on a regular bases but whenever I watch it, I love it and learn SO much. I think Michael Kitchen is perfect for the part and Honeysuckle Weeks his driver.
I’d missed the beginning, but it didn’t matter, for the next time I see it on telly, it might be the start of the part I missed today.
Tonight, as I saw the last part, it was about a man who had stole someone’s idea and had killed the inventor, the man who had done this was rich, and had even said to Christopher Foyle, “Do you know who I am?”
It ended with the crook about to escape on a plane, but Foyle said to the man, “No war lasts forever, and neither will this, a year maybe ten, it will end and when it does you will still be a liar, a thief, a murderer and I will not have forgotten, and wherever you are I will find you, you are not escaping justice you are merely postponing it.”
Fantastic words, but I then thought of the many Diplomats who have escaped justice.
