Jumble Sales.

I look in our free paper each Thursday and Friday to find out where and when our local jumble sales will be on Saturday.

We always make sure we get there early, before the greedy Traders!

We make sure we have change, 10p's 20p's 50p's and £1 coins.

Each one is different, some I like and some I don't, for they are spoilt by the 'grabbers' stuffing things straight into their bags! Isn't that stealing? They have the cheek to then ask, “How much it per bag?”

If I hold onto something, and another grabs it too, I just let them have it! For they grab things all their lives!!

My favourite jumble sale takes place 3 times a year, there is always something there for everyone. And it is £5 per bag, yet the greedy ones will be found in the corner, stuffing a bag rammed full, trying to get £8 - £9 worth in their bag.

I re-sell most of my items on Ebay! That's what others do too, or sell it on their market stall or at their car boot sales.

Some times I see familiar faces, we smile and say, “Hi”

Some jumble sales are posher than others, more organized, yet some GOOD bargains to be had there too.
