Mrs N. Parker!!!

My Daughter is an Ambassador for her school. We are so proud of her. Her Brother would never be one!
I bought her a lovely dark coloured jacket to wear over her blazer as all she has for her uniform is a shirt and thin blazer.
When the lovely jacket arrive, that I had ordered from eBay I knew it was Dolce & Gabbana but has I had bid on a listing that had ended very late there was just one bid, mine and what a bargain at 99p post was just £2 so I was chuffed to bits.
When the lovely little jacket arrived I had an even more of a surprise it was beautifully wool lined! The Seller hadn't even mentioned this in her listing or others would have snapped it up! But they all missed a real bargain.
So now my Daughter who is slim would be like toast on her way to and from school. Job done I thought, she looked so smart.
Then after one month on a bitter cold day, near the end of last year I noticed she hadn't worn it! I asked her “Why?” She said, “Mrs Parker saw me and said, you can't wear that! Don't wear it again!!!” I emailed the school and said, “As a Mother, I do my best to keep my kids warm, for you see so many kids, wearing the wrong clothes in Winter, not looking after themselves properly, my Daughter is small and slim, her little blazer does not protect her from the cold weather. So I am doing my bit to keep her warm.” I went on, “Her new jacket blends in well with her school uniform, unlike half the other children I see going to the same school with their bright, flowered girly zip front jackets with hood over their blazers and the lads half of them too with their large branded Nike hoodies of all colours.” I said “On the bus, no member of the public would look at my Daughter and say, 'tut, look what she is wearing' no for she blends in.”
Then a 'nice' Teacher came to my Daughter and said, after she had read my email, “It was OK for her to carry on wearing her jacket, on one knew it was a D&G jacket for that was inside it and it was plain, but warm and dark blue.
So I was once again happy, then again Nosy Parker, sorry Natalie Parker strikes again! And said to my Daughter, “I told you NOT to let me see you wearing that jacket again, you are not even allowed to wear it on the bus home!!” My blood boiled when Daughter told me! Again I emailed the school, and spoke to the 'nice' Teacher who then informed me, Mrs Parker was right, and she was wrong to say it was OK for my child to wear that jacket, for Mrs Parker has pointed out to her, it is denim and denim is not allowed in the school!” I said, “Fair enough, but what about the 6ft lads wearing hoodies of all colours over their blazers, (like our Son does everyday and he goes to the same school) she doesn't pick on them and bully them, she leaves them alone!” The 'nice' Teacher replied, “She does tell them too not to wear it.....” (but they still do) our Son does, he wears what he likes and so does his friends, and most of the other children who attend the same school!!!
I have always been one, for children wearing school uniform and not wearing what they like, moving the goal post to suit them! So now my Daughter wears zip up hoodies of all colours, over her blazer, and no one says anything! Not even Nosy Parker! So now she is like half the other children, wearing what they like over their blazers. What, wonder does the members of the public think when they see her now? Yet, thanks to Nosy Parker, my Daughter gets to wear her lovely jackets and hooded tops to school over her blazer of all colours!!
