What is IT?

What is IT?
Friday our world changed forever, before then Nanny was grumpy but relativity chilled, Hotel was very chilled but I was the chillest, my name is Gray!
Dad brought something home, at first we ran for our lives, when we saw IT! For we didn’t know what IT was!!!
The first day we saw IT we sat at the other side of the room, Hotel and Nanny sat at each side of the settee and I sat behind them on the window sill!
We didn’t even blink! We just stared and stared! I wish things would go back the same as they were before IT arrived!
IT is bigger than us, it is HUGE the biggest, strangest thing I ever saw! Dad is brave he and Mum don’t seem to be frightened of IT. Dad takes it out with him when he has a fag, and I hear Dad say, “Good girl!”
It was bad enough that this horrible thing came to our home; I hope it won’t be here tomorrow! How could Mum and Dad do this to us! But much worse was to follow, MUCH WORSE!
It was now bed time, we usually love bed times we snuggle up around the Living room in our favourite spots, Nanny sleeps where Dad sits, Hotel sleeps on the chair and I where Mum loves to sit on the sofa!
Freddie was moved from his cage to the cage in the other room and IT was put in Freddie’s cage! It was a VERY bad night. For IT cried and whined, and howled ALL NIGHT, and cried and howled some more! Mum, Dad, Meghan, Daniel and us Cats got NO sleep, at all!
Breakfast WAS our favourite time of the day as well as our elevenses,’ Lunch time, Tea time and of course Supper time! None of us ate our breakfast yesterday, we were just too frightened! We arched our backs and shivered and went to the window to tell Mum, “Put us out NOW.”
I was TOO frightened to come back in, but eventually hunger got the better of me and I checked to see where IT was, and walked as low and as slow as I could hoping IT wouldn’t see me, I went to the kitchen and with my eyes WIDE open I grabbed a few bites. A girl has got to keep her strength up, for I know who my new enemy is, before it was miserable Nanny but now we Cats are sticking together!!!!
Strange it was Nanny who let IT sniff her, as she sat on the foot high raised cat bed, Brave Nanny or totally stupid Nanny! There is NO way; I would IT near me!!!
Daddy had called to me, to come and be stroked on the sofa with him, but IT was also there, so NO!!! I have never in all my life seen anything like IT before!! I don’t know what IT is, Mum did say, IT is only seven weeks old! How can something that BIG be only seven weeks old!!!
I don’t trust IT, I arch my back and I make my usually slick tail go bushy trying to make me look big too. Last night IT’s second night in OUR home, again howled, cried, and whined like a BIG BABY! It’s too BIG to be a baby! Oh I wish we could go back to how it was before with grumpy Nanny and Hotel going in and out all day and me purring for Daddy!
Well tomorrow is Monday, if IT cries tonight again, Mum and Day may change their minds and give IT back, paws crossed! x
