Sleeping Late

Oh how I hate to get up in the morning, oh how I love to remain in bed,
the hardest thing of all is to hear the bugler call,
You got'to get up, you got'to get up you got'to get up this morning!
One day I'm goin'to murder the bugler, one day they're goin'to find him dead
and then, I'll spend, the rest of my life in bed!
That is the best part of being unemployed, you can sleep as late as you like! Such a very pleasant slumber. An alarm clock as far as I am concerned is cruel and unusual punishment. It is actually a bit dangerous to wake me up.
Usually I worked all night and weekends too, and slept in daytime it's not good for you. There was no company then, I was living alone. At least I now sleep very regular hours, but unfortunately I have to admit I have very little to do now, also in the morning. There's not really anything to get up for.
After close to 20 years with no pay or pay slip I would say you may safely say my formal working career is now over and in effect without pension.
We had a horrible merciless boss squeezing out every drop of blood. We could do most of our work at home, in fact they get a lot more out of you that way, no traffic no control on hours office space etc. For me, also was you can smoke when at home.
These days maybe eat something, the usual health routines in the morning like washing your face drink your pills. That's basically it. I have been watching a lot of movies for years now. Easily must be some hundreds. Rediscovered now some of my older mucic also. Should read a bit I think and study mathematics like that on my own. You get lazy, easier said than done.
The Book of Proverbs predicts and guarantees poverty for such laziness. I am living proof.
I don't have any kind of job, apart from unpaid ABC! As charity then. Any advice on standing up not so terribly unpleasant? They have a new method here with me my brother kicks up one hell of a racket for me to get up. Hate it but it works.

I'm glad it wasn't you wrote
I'm glad it wasn't you wrote the song! The reveille trumpet must have been very like the BUZZ! BUZZ! of the alarm clock we spoke about on my piece about the benefit of a musical awakening.
I don't know how isolated your house is, Tom, but are there any opportunities for voluntary work, or just helping elderly neighbours with a job or two etc? Such can prove very satisfying Rhiannon

Have you ever thought of
Have you ever thought of getting a dog or cat Tom? Both are excellent at waking their people up, and very good company too!
