A warm dream

One of my favourite dreams I have a dream of warm love and yes the glowing embers! How incredibly romantic. As in silence darkness draws near sacred a gentle calm.
Home is pleasant when it is night and safe with dim light thoughts and memories of happiness being able to close the door the freezing outside cozy in the cabin. To enjoy the quiet by a warm fireside magical lost seeing deep into the flames cuddling with my lady.

I had a dream one night it was ice cold rain and storm and wind in the dark night alone with only my brother we were soaking wet.
Once I had a dream exactly as I describe here it was wonderful we knocked. It was bitter cold they had a gospel thing going in some large timber barn with a fire they invited us in and everything everybody was so warm and friendly we felt so welcome sitting on bales of straw and the singing.
There was steaming soup with fresh buttered bread. In front of the hearth with our clothes drying and sitting on the hay all around the lively guitars playing young people getting carried away blushing cheeks sweet smiles happy sparkling eyes,
A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another as I have loved you. By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.
Later it quietened down into night and strong sweet coffee. I knew God loves me and it is all that matters. When dreams make you happy and you feel such warm close company it is almost real.
Yes imagine from the rain and dark and cold sopping wet dejected so alone and then into a big warm barn like that! A big family! It's enough to make anyone Christian!
Joyful clapping hands and strumming drumming soft guitars the chorus,
Bind us together Lord, bind us together with cords that cannot be broken! Bind us together Lord, bind us together with love. There is only one God, there is only one king! There is only one body that is why we sing. Bind us together Lord, bind us together Lord, bind us together with love!
A wonderful dream! Tidings of joy and tidings of peace!
All over the world the Spirit is moving, all over the world as the prophet said it would be. All over the world there's a mighty revelation, of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. Deep down in my heart the Spirit is moving. Deep down in my heart as the prophet said it would be. Deep down in my heart there's a mighty revelation, of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea!

I couldn't look what had been
I couldn't look what had been posted yesterday, Tom. But I'm glad to read this this morning. What strikes me is that with all the warmth of romantic love, and the happy warm barn after the rain, there is the awareness that such company would still be rather fragile and suspicious, uncertainty in the friendships, if it weren't for that peace of heart in love of God and his ways that he can give in the heart and can be shared.
