T Rex had feathers
Next pesky scientists will say
Big Dino” wore leathers and mirrors,
wheelied down the fern highway
But seriously, why feathers ?
Maybe it was to bamboozle prey
he put them into hypnotic trance
by performing a wild and colourful
dance of the plumes
before he joyously consumes
Perhaps it was to
catch prey at night
Edna Edna, it looks warm here
Edna Edna, Good grief
this bed’s got very big teeth
It certainly wasn’t for flight
cos of size, you won’t see a pig
in the jet stream
No Goggled or not
T Rex didn’t make the aerobatics team
According to Evolution
a feather’s main role is insulati
Could be “Big Dino” needed a quilt
so he didn’t wilt
And yes you’ve guessed it
maybe he needed them to pull
Like a latter day peacock
it was all to give the girls a thrill
Hope it wasn’t like a humongous hen
to keep eggs warm
because big bad terrifying T Rex
would never ever live it down!

I liked this poem Tony. Not sure why you changed the font to pale grey though - it makes it harder to read

Actually it still looks greyed out to me. Perhaps it's the size of the font too - though my eyesight isn't that bad!
