"The Decreed Unseen"

i am inspired by and
lost in the sounds
of the night rain falling,
the wind rustling
the bare branches
of the many plain trees
that surround my home
and in hearing
the waning moon
as she slowly climbs
the night's ebony staircase.
there is an internal calmness,
permeating the external
as my soul listens
to the sounds of allah.
i am a sitting prostration
with an unquivering soul,
clear mind, still heart,
and quiet flesh.
still in the knowing,
certain of the unseen.
as certain as the moon
shall continue her rise,
the divine one moves
destiny closer
to the tips
of my all-seeing fingers
as the wind whirls open
my now uncrying hands.
upon hearing
the moon's sliver,
i taste your
alone hands
encircling mine
as our nocturnal souls
find a peace eternal
in the touch of the absolute;
silent lovers unified in one
beating spiritual being.
bonded souls exposed
in unique sounds;
as they whisper gratitude
to the eternal one
for yet another earthly union.
in the seeing of these
unseen scenes,
my mind houses
a positiveness
causing her
feminine lake to be
calm and clear,
receptive
to the understanding
of the unseen.
in unison,
the silent shahada
is whispered,
submitting the brahmin;
transcending her
to yet
another level.
i am the moon's
ordained ascension,
the cool night breeze,
i am the glistening branches,
the wet falling rain,
the ebony sky,
the hands of time.
i am the all-hearing,
the all-seeing.
one of two
precious lovers
on this never-ending journey
guided by the supreme lover's
time'd whisper.
time to cross yet again
into the flesh;
a divine unification
of two lonely, earthly skins
unlonely when bound
but yet when bound,
unbound.
life's internal essence
given by the other's
metaphoric key;
uniting what as of yet
has been ununited.
eternally chosen souls
waiting,
waiting for the lovers'
first taste of this life's
spiritual, breathing
sacrament.
Aloha wau ia 'oe, nei kane.
