"a lion, my father♥ is"

a lion, my father is standing fiercely before his pride;
golden fur resplendent, his risen flag. representing
the strength and health of his pride. "here is where
we reside" he says, "until we return home" decision
maker, as is my mother.

such a little, green, sailboat youth i had, we had.
little did i know, he was creating a book by which
i may live; one i refer to often. i have added many,
many, many books to the blue one of life he wrote
for me. such a fortunate child, i was, to have a
wise father and wise and lovely mother. their life
lessons we now pass on to our lion and tiger cubs
to prepare them for their beautiful life, their long,
prosperous journeys, their millions of breaths,
their path!
