"A Lover's Sonnet"

E'en the departing hour seeth the face of unwaiting time
Ill advised to requite the hour facial before time's grace
Did'st prudent measure bemoan decision's final rhyme
Or place unrelenting time inside the world's embrace
Herein day's night dislike night's day, do I question make
Countless hours many that with gentle work did frame
Fate framed lovers' love creating beauty's longing ache
Let not love's light flicker upon solitary, burning flame
E'en if it does amongst the night when flame does flick
In twin it dances slow all else foresaken
So should the beauty mid the marriage of true wicks
Slumber softly in mental slumber not ready to awaken?
Dream, my love, dream of our horizon
As obsidian will glisten upon her eyes on.
