- 1679 reads
in bound of place the chequered's high
as pearl drop moon mimes in reply
sweet cup she hangs on lobe of black
to swing her light across their rack
with heads in rest and rest at home
her soul does lean and kiss each dome
and in return each dome does raise
with lowered head and eyes that gaze
a stillness felt, a silence heard
which not is learnt in spoken word
each spirit rings to minding moon
to bring her light, to fill the room
the souls do bid in silent prayer
as peace transcends lands everywhere ~
for all good military
