"Altar of desire" - The Preamble
He drinketh the blood and is set afire
delivered by the lamb of her desire
a whispered word not once not twice
given to him now, her sacrifice.

the voice of lamb so soft, so meek
it drew the wolf in his critique;
wicked wood, he did her invite
to lounge and listen but not bite.
for many eves his stories flowed
his eyes did sparkle in a code;
they seemed to hook her soul in coax
amidst a white of fire and smoke.
as light to darken night embraced
his spoken word to whispers chased,
before her spirit lay twined rope
e'en tiny woollen one did scope.
the knight his armour did transform
as skies above began to storm.
the woolly ball did blink and watch
as rope to hand began to notch.
four stakes appeared around his prize
the rope he looped around each thigh,
as rain did fall and wet the scene
a mind in shadow now obscene.
in instinct, he prepared the blade
her heart to take as she lay splayed;
a serenade in scream he heard
to him she pledged as he collared.
