Future, Now, Past

The future quickly gets here, but it doesn't really last,
It soon begins to disappear and then becomes the past!
 
So no matter what your worries are, the ones you can't erase,
One day they'll be a memory, a far off distant haze!
 
Hold onto all your good thoughts, the ones that made you smile,
Take a look at all your photographs, once in every while.
 
Keep on moving forward, and force through all the pain,
Though life is ever changing and won't be the same again.
 
Whether bills to pay, or times of dread,
On days you wished you'd upped and fled.
 
These days are just like other days, but with obstacles to pass,
Try not to drown your sorrows with booze flowing  freely from a glass.
 
Remember, that your actions, define exactly who you are,
With people always watching, even from afar.
 
And although at times you might not care,
Your mind will change as people stare.
 
And though you care not, about the thoughts of some,
There is no greater critic than yourself, in years to come.
