iPad Flat, Paper Flat

The Kids have run their iPads flat,
Now their fighting over mine.
And none have put their own on charge,
That's not a helpful sign.
I've got words to write, songs to sing,
And Facebook posts to read.
I know I'll have to wait a while,
As they've got the greater need.
I suppose I could use a note pad,
And find a leaky pen.
The story that is in my head,
I will have to start again.
But I'll start off with a doodle,
And draw a spirally snail.
Then I'll stab the paper,
To make my words in Braille.
Then I'll make a dot to dot,
To draw a Panto horse.
But then get bored and meditate,
To feel the Jedi force.
Perhaps I'll find a board game,
And get the Kids to play.
We'll do some things together,
And have a fun filled day.
