Consummation

Man is a conflicted animal, strange desires buried beneath a thin veneer of rationalism
But the world is not rational it consumes of itself
Tearing itself apart in an orgy of the edible
Life lives off life
The death of flesh is a constant in a sea of experience
All creatures grow out of the elements in some mysterious manner
No one knows why life sprang into motion by what process it was originally spawned
And measured and assessed, natural selection creates a myriad of forms
Evolution is uncovered piece by piece
The bodily frame expressing endless elaborations on a common ancestor
Life and death are still the two greatest of mysteries
It is still unknown why it should be, the eternal unanswered question
Everything
All matter and every type creature
Consumes and is itself and is consumed throughout eternity
The language of dreams speaks of a hereafter
But bespoke explanations cannot explain the manner and mystery of the world
