Daughters of eve

Where once was a warm summer now a strange empty coldness and grief
Constant days in the sun replaced with endless night
Meaning replaced with hollow and despondent thoughts
A voice silenced never more to be heard

Along time coping with not coping

In midsummer there is renewal
An unseen but constant spirit touched upon the fragile earth
Life begins and ends with expiration
So with every end the seed of new beginning

A soul takes form in the womb as the world begins to turn again
A first time of our meeting
Yet you where always known within me
A part of what was lost reclaimed within you

My little one you will grow as part of a loving family
As from vague eternal slumber your spirit awakens
Light and sound herald a path to birth
I can feel the inner light of the eternal
Relatives all around their yours as well as mine
For you are no stranger to the world but formed from its heart

She would have loved you
She does love you as deeply as I do
It is only a thin Vail which separates us the living and the dead
The chasm of death cannot hold back love
And nor can the evils of the world

Spirits of the top of the world sing in the Northern lights
As mystery passes forever between mother and child
That miracle which nurtures new life
