A figure in the vast landscape

Walking out into the great silence
Stills the mind
It is not empty
But stills to a more natural pace
Observations , thoughts and feelings
Can come and go in a walking meditation
Sans technology
Things are more immediate
Not mediated though
The mirror of culture
Or design
The senses sharpen
And the breathing relaxes
This is life in the raw
An expansion of the self
As you harmonise with the environment
In the silence is the great renewal
Separation is an illusion
But it can nt be understood by the intellect
Only perceived through direct experience
The senses grew in silence
And barriers are broken down

You evoke the relaxed pace of
You evoke the relaxed pace of walking out quietly in a quiet place, simply observing all that is around and thus relaxing away from tumultuous thoughts and noise. Rhiannon

"Separation is an illusion"
"Separation is an illusion" these beautiful words evoke a feeling of being understood and finding a kindred spirit in this poet. I write about the same theme, near to my soul, the endless wonder of creation and the unity between everything alive. We are one.
