A mad thought inspired by my heroes

This is a mad thought inspired by my heroes
The universe is like a body
And we and all living things are like atoms in that body.

The galaxies are like vast living cells
Made up of stars, black holes and who knows what
And the universe itself is part of a multiverse of space and time.

We will all die one day, but live on as well
As we are truly part of a body much larger than are physical bodies
As the Hindus would say Atman equals Brahman
Or as my old chemistry teacher used to say “nothing is really ever destroyed it simply changes form”
Is my thought really so mad?
