You are the reason that I exist,
The one who made me walk holding my wrist.
You are the reason for me being what I am today,
Which isn't that bad is what I would say.
You are the one who gave birth to me,
Making me a part of your family tree.
You taught me everything,
From words, to letters to sentencing.
You taught me how to speak,
And helped me whenever I freaked.
You gave me the basic ethics,
And made me what I am today.
You kept me from all the bad things,
Yet let me experience everything.
You taught me the do's and don'ts of life,
Being a perfect woman, a perfect lady, a perfect wife.
You gave life the best definition,
Provided me with the perfect vision.
Life without you wouldn't have been possible,
Let it be biological, emotional or any other equivalent 'al'
On your birthday mom,
I promise to take care of you for the rest of your life,
True words without any sort of hype.
I will be with you in the good times
And in the bad times for sure,
Trying to find a cure.
Sorry for the bad words that I ever said,
And if I ever made you cry,
And whenever I lied.
This one is just to wish you a very happy birthday
And make you smile!

Hi vidit.chopra, Being a mum, I fell in love with this poem, I am going to show it to my son, when he comes in from work. My mum died, and you never realise how much you miss them, till their gone. Always make the most of your time with your mum, because one day she won't be there. But then, I can tell from your words, that you know that already. Again very moving and enjoyable. Jenny.
