Friends are the ones, who hold us together,
Friends are the ones, who are with us forever.
We meet them every day,
At any point of the day.
They are the ones, who give us laughing cries and smiling tears,
As it is that is what you expect from your peers.
Friends are our partners in crime,
Also the ones with whom we make our rhymes.
They are the one who often land you in a difficult situation,
But then take you out of it.
They are your biggest critics as well as the biggest appreciators.
They are there with you when you need them the most,
And often at the time when they shouldn’t be there,
Just to show how much they care.
Life seems to be a living hell when they are not around,
They are the ones around whom your life revolves like a merry go round.
Those counter arguments on every small thing,
Seldom leading you to the boxing ring.
Those long chats in class,
Hoping for the lecture to finish as early as it can.
Those hook ups and break ups,
Those hypothetical link ups!
Indeed friends are the one can look up to,
Let it be anything from start to adieu.
Those pranks being played on others,
Some with success and some with failures.
Life without friends is a life without fun,
A life without any action.
