Happy Mother's Day

'Ma' was the first word that came out of my tiny mouth,
You are the one who told me things of the east west north and south.
You are the one who molded me into what I am today,
Teaching me everything you could which always brought me hay.
You are the one who , for me, defined,
What every word in this world means,
Let it be abcd or a movie scene.
You are the one who taught me to speak and write,
Filled colours in my world which else was black and white.
I asked for candy,
You bought me chocolate,
I asked for two,
You bought me a whole packet.
The best of it all is I never asked for anything,
But you still knew what I required,
I would ask that how did you always know,
You reply, 'It's the bond between us that conspired.'
Then I asked for money,
And you gave me ATM. ;)
Though the last one isn't true,
But I know you would have if you had the smallest of clue.
On this Mother's Day all I have to say is Thank You,
For bearing me all these years
And sorry for all the times that brought tears.
