Long Lost Cache

The sun shines pale on this place I knew so well
Tinged with grey, this cold winter’s day
Bizarre flashes of long lost caches

Wrapping around me, we are together again.
The swirling sea beside me
Whispers my name
She saw through her promises

Wow! Evokes a lot of feelings
Wow! Evokes a lot of feelings this poem does...Those mental trips back to happy moments, bright days of summer with friends and lovers of past calendar days. Your descriptions took the reader to those places too. And for me it was an amazing journey for a Saturday morn with my coffee cup and this poem... I thank you – reading it made me wistful, happily so.
