I noticed a few quirks about our strangeness;
There are many things we are eager to defend,
like the reasons for business,
Or an un-loyal friend.
We call ourself a smart race,
but lack the simple ability to debate
about why some deserves an embrace,
or the menial things we leave to fate.
For example, you say that falling is like flying
because its a easy way to descend.
But what if flying is more like falling,
just lacking the more permeant end?
