She was lost in her own world
That was so much more at peace
Than the violence and apathy all around
That forced her each night to her knees.
Maybe that was God’s way
To make sure that she didn’t forget her path
She couldn’t live in this world day and night
And continue to ignore all the misery and blood bath.
Mother Earth was shuddering more often now
And shedding Tsunami like tears
The salt alas didn’t cleanse the earth
It just inflated everyone’s fears.
What could be done to resolve this chaos?
The politicians and terrorists would never listen to her
She could barely get her little brother to do as she said
Forget influencing those who loved to divide and conquer.
Then sudden inspiration struck her core
It was only herself that she could change
One peaceful soul would certainly beget others
It was such a simple solution, wasn’t it strange!
She swore she’d be a better person right then
And walk the path of love and light
The collective human consciousness breathed a sigh of relief
At least someone wasn’t obsessed with military might!
