Drip drop plonk a tonky tonk tonk
The shower sings his old annoying song
Of the wasting water with the rust flowing through
He keeps on a singing the dingy bathroom blues

A calcium melting ooze and a mouse biting snooze
I also am a singing the dingy bathroom blues

He begins a talking and the tales that he tells
Have never been spoken have never been read
He leaves his trails in the cracked enamel pail
Like blue worms a wriggling on a pensioners pate
