Kicking pebbles is no substitute
for breaking bones
or lashing out and watching blood
Seep gently down from someone's nose.
It is the petty piles of shit
Which make me feel as if my
Solar plexus has been hit
And make me write these lines the way I do
And make me feel like laying into you.
Or anyone who happens to be passing through.
