1st Argument - The Simultaneity Argument
I cannot think two thoughts simultaneously. For example, I cannot think 2+2 = 4 and 4+4 = 8 at the same time.
I cannot have two dreams simultaneously.
But I can think a thought and control my body simultaneously; I can imagine and control my body simultaneously.
That would suggest that moving my body is something different to thinking and imagining which would not be the case if my body was a dream.
2nd Argument - Thinking is not moving Argument
When I think of moving my hand it doesn't move.
When I imagine moving my hand it doesn't move.
When I move my hand it moves.
That would suggest that moving my body is something different to thinking and imagining which would not be the case if my body was a dream.
