3 Magic Words

Three magic words, when spoken,
the gates of heaven, open
and make the world bright, beautiful and new.

Like music, they are to hear;
gold dust sprinkled on the air;
those three wonderful words, “I love you”.

Love, do not be a miser with your kisses that are gold.
Can you not see my heart will die without your hand to hold?
Without your sweet love I’m sure I will simply waste away
and all I ask is a kiss or two to see me through the day.
