All through the winter

All through the Winter bleak and dreary,

the Sun seems like an absent friend

but he will come home bright and cheery

and, with green Springtime, make amends.

When ice and snow yield to his power

and wind loses its fearsome sting

then the whole world will fill with flowers

and bright blue skies, with birds that sing.
