And will our feet in future time

walk upon England's mountains green?

Or will the earth be filled with grime

and England's waters be unclean?

Will England’s countenance so bright

survive the dark, satanic drills

when fracking wells begin to bite

and, with fracking fluid, she’s filled?

Shout out aloud; be brave and bold!

Shout out with passion and with ire!

Shout out and let the truth be told!

Shout out and by truth be inspired!

We should not cease from mental fight,

now is the time to make a stand,

before they bring the fracking blight

to England's green and pleasant land.
