Magical galaxies, towering over us;
sprinkling twinkling showers all over us;
sparkling starbursts and spirals and rings;
fabulous nebulas; fairy tale things.

Magical meteors; across the skies you skid,
scurrying Perseids, Ursids and Gemenids;
comets like lions with manes long and bright
that light up the skies as you pounce through the night.

Beautiful Universe; how you’ve enchanted me;
diamonds and gold stretching far as the eye can see.
Someday my fingers will reach out and touch
your magical lights that have thrilled me so much.
