when he saw a big bogeyman coming his way
so he hopped and he hopped as fast as he could
till the little rabbit hopped right out o' them woods.
Run, run as fast as you can.
You can't run away from the bogeyman.
'cause he's mean and he's green and he's ten foot tall.
The bogeyman's the biggest, baddest villain of all

Then along came a little girl skipping through the woods
her name was Little Miss Riding Hood
when she saw the bogeyman, big and green;
he was howling; he was growling; he looked awfully mean.
Run, run as fast as you can.
You can't run away from the bogeyman.
'cause he's mean and he's green and he's ten foot tall.
The bogeyman's the biggest, baddest villain of all

But then that Bogeyman was stalking through the night
when he heard a growl that gave him a fright.
He looked over yonder and what did he see?
It was another Bogeyman even bigger than he.
Run, run as fast as you can.
You can't run away from the bogeyman.
'cause he's mean and he's green and he's ten foot tall.
The bogeyman's the biggest, baddest villain of all
