- Players each have an Ultra Violet Torch.
- Players also have “The Book of Ghosts” a book of pictures drawn in ultraviolet sensitive invisible ink.
- All of the pictures in the book are of rooms in a haunted house.
- Some of the rooms in the pictures contain Ghosts (and monsters), others contain Treasure.
- Players take turns opening the book at a page and shining their ultraviolet torch on the page uncovering the details of the invisible picture.
- Players have 5 lives and each time a player reveals a ghost or monster they lose a life, if they lose all their lives they lose the game.
- Each time a player finds treasure, however, they gain a life.
- The first player to lose all their lives loses the game making their opponent the winner.

Red Dice: First, a player rolls a red six sided dice with the number 2 on two sides, the number 4 on two sides and the number 6 on two sides to decide how many numbers they will have to roll.
Blue Dice: The player then rolls a blue six sided dice with the word ODD on two sides and the word EVEN on two sides and the word HALF (Meaning half Odd and Half Even) on two sides which they roll to decide whether the numbers have to be odd or even.
White Dice: Then, with an ordinary six sided dice, a white dice, they have to try and roll either an odd number or an even number the number of times which they rolled with the Red dice.
Half rule: If they roll 2 with the red dice and Half with the blue dice, that means they have to roll 1 odd number and 1 even number; if they roll 4 with the red dice and Half with the blue dice then its 2 odd numbers and 2 even numbers and if they roll 6 with the red and half with the blue its 3 odds and 3 evens they have to roll.
Players take turns doing this, each time a player manages to roll the required number of Odds or Evens they score the sum of the numbers that they roll with the White dice; when every player has had a turn that is a round and after 6 rounds or more, the player with the highest score is the winner.
In the event of a Draw: In the event of a draw between two players, the white dice should be rolled and the person who rolls the highest number wins.
