Chain Mentalism ‘Force’ (This force can be done anytime, anywhere without props unlike most other mentalism forces)

Say that you are going to build up a chain of words because that is easier than trying to psychically read just one word.

Ask the participant to think of  a colour and visualise the name of that colour. Say that this will be the first link in the chain.

(It could be Red, Green, Brown, Blue, Pink, Purple, Yellow, Orange, Grey, Black or White and there’s NO way that you could possibly know which – that’s why this trick IS impressive)

Now ask them if they can think of a MONTH OF THE YEAR beginning with the last letter of that colour. If they can then their colour was Red or Brown or Green and their Month is either December or November, in which case ask them to think of a colour beginning with the last letter of the month and it has to be the colour Red.

If they can’t think of a month then ask them if they can think of a PRECIOUS STONE that begins with the last letter of that colour. If they can then their colour is Blue, Purple or Orange and their stone is Emerald.

If they can’t do that then ask them to think of  a ROOM IN A HOUSE that begins with the last letter of the colour. If they can do this then their colour was pink or black and their room is a Kitchen.

If they can’t think of a room in a house then their colour must be either Yellow or Grey so ask them if they can think of a day of the week that begins with the last letter. If they say yes, then their colour is Yellow and the day is Wednesday. If they say no, then their colour is grey, in which case ask them to think of another colour and their colour will be Yellow.
