  1. One turbine (Perhaps turned by wind, water or some other natural force) turns.
  2. It powers a long rotating axle.
  3. As the axle rotates it turns a hundred turbines which generate electricity.
  4. So, essentially, your using one turbine to power rotation and your using that movement to turn lots of turbines.
  5. You are using a small amount of electricity and using it to generate a large amount of electricity.
