Computer Security Idea - Defensive Computer Viruses

Defensive computer viruses are viruses that are part of a computer security system which get uploaded onto the computer of any hacker trying to break through it.

Why is this a good idea?: If hackers risked downloading viruses onto their computer it would be an added deterrent, ontop of the deterrent of being caught, against hacking into the files of a private company or organization.
