I tried writing in the wind.
The wind blew my pad away.
I tried writing in the rain.
The paper just got soggy.
I tried writing in a storm.
Lightning struck my ball-point pen.
I tried writing in a fog.
I couldn’t see. Far too foggy
but then the sun began to shine
and that seemed to suit writing fine;
the sun unveiled enchanting views
and, in my head, shone the bright muse.
