Surrendering, the setting sun goes down
but dawn will raise its golden sunray crown.
Out of the deepest darkness climbs the day.
And blazing green fire grows from the grey
ashes of ancient woodland burned away.
The fire of life shall never be put out.
Even from ice and snow the springtime sprouts
and so, forget your fears, despair and doubt.
For, in defeat, are the seeds of victory sown.

Like it, well-wisher. Is spring in the air? I'd never heard of that rhyme-scheme thing. I really don't know what I'm doing. Does it show?
