The Game Of Nimble
- This is a verbal number game for two players.
- Each player has only the numbers 1 to 10.
- One player says a number or combination of numbers and the other player must say a number or combination of numbers that is 1 number higher.
- The loser is the player who has used up all his useable numbers out of his 1 to 10.
- Example of a Nimble match: Player A: 5 (Still has 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9 and 10 left)
Player B: 5 and 1 (Still has 2,3,4,6,7,8,9 and 10 left)
Player B: 7 (still has 2,3,4,6,8,9 and 10 left)
Player A: 6 and 2 (Still 1,3,4,7,8,9 and 10 left)
Player A: 9 (Still has 1,3,4,7,8 and 10 left)
Player B: 8 and 2 (Still has 3,4,6,9 and 10 left)
Player B: 9 (Still has 3,4,6 and 10 left)
Player A: 10 (Still has 1,3,4,7,8 left)
Player A: 8 (Still has 1,3,4,7 left)
Player B: 6 and 4 (Still has 3 and 10 left)
Player B: 10 (Only has 3 left)
Player A: 7 and 3 and 1 (Only has 4 left)
Player A: 4 (Has none left)
But Player B only has a 3 left and 3 can’t beat 4 so Player B has to concede defeat and Player A wins.
The game of Noah – Family/ Kids Dice Game
- Two or more players take turns rolling a six sided dice.
- Each time they roll the dice they write down the number they rolled on a sheet of paper. Any number rolled more than twice is not written down (In other words, you only write a number down the first and second time that you roll it)
- The first person to have, during the course of the game, rolled all six numbers twice is the winner.
- To make it more fun players could all have toy boats and 6 pairs of animal pieces (2 elephants; 2 Giraffes; 2 Zebras; 2 Kangaroos; 2 Monkeys and 2 Tigers) that they have to collect to fill the boats, each animal piece with its corresponding dice number on the bottom (1 = Giraffe; 2 = Zebra; 3= Monkey; 4= Kangaroo; 5= Tiger and 6 = elephant)
- The Overboard rule (just to make the game more interesting) – You can knock two of an opponent’s animals/numbers “overboard” but first you have to declare which animal/number you are aiming for and then manage to roll it. If you are successful then this is a setback for your opponent, they have to remove those two animals from their Ark and roll for them again.
