Glimpses

I have seen the blue glow of heavens skies

gazing through the aperture of your eyes

and tasted Heaven’s waters of true bliss

in the heavenly sweetness of your kiss

and briefly have held heavens brightest star

for that’s how bright, in loveliness, you are

but, too long, in heaven, can never stay

and will not till our blissful wedding day.
