Global Warming Charity Idea – A Global Lottery To Fight Global Warming

I think that Global Warming could be stopped if there was a Global Lottery; everyone in the world buying a lottery ticket and the money that wasn’t won going towards projects like research and  saving the Amazon Rainforest; the coral reefs; the polar ice caps and other endangered areas.

Why a Global Lottery? : Because it is a problem that effects everyone in the world and so if everyone in the world was buying lottery tickets then the whole world would be funding the fight against Global warming.

And the appeal/ incentive of buying a Global lottery ticket? – Well, firstly think about the kind of money you could win in a global lottery; it would be bigger than anything you could win in a national or even continent wide lottery. Secondly, anyone who wins the Global lottery would instantly (if they wanted) become internationally famous.

Logistical Problems – I understand that it would be a massively ambitious undertaking to create a Global lottery but I know that there is a European lottery that proves that polynational lotteries can work.
