The Golden Garden (Children’s Rhyme)

In a little golden garden

grows a shining silver tree

in which happy clockwork song birds

sit and chirp quite prettily.

And upon its silver branches

hang diamonds as large as plums

and falling down from sapphire skies

precious pearl raindrops come.

And a clockwork ballerina

skips around the silver tree

and a music box inside her sings

sweet tinkling melodies.
