1.
Leaves that, brightly burning
with amber, let go
are slowly returning
with emerald glow.
2.
The flowers that wilted
are back, bright and gay;
and snow that, all, quilted
has melted away.
Chorus:
Rejoice! Rejoice!
It’s a glad occasion;
the coronation of the sun.
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Life’s regeneration.
The happy Spring time has begun.
3.
The winter winds, wild
are now warm, gentle sighs;
the weather is mild
and bright blue are the skies.
4.
On branches, the thrushes
and black birds rejoice;
my heart, skyward, rushes
when I hear their voice.
Chorus:
Rejoice! Rejoice!
It’s a glad occasion;
the coronation of the sun.
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Life’s regeneration.
The happy Spring time has begun.
