The Heroic Autumn

The last words of the Autumn,
at the dying of the year,
are the oratory of beauty;
ennobling to hear.

With the sighing of the Autumn wind
and tongues of blazing leaves,
defiantly, the Earth proclaims,
“I shall return, so do not grieve”.
