I dreamed I was a Satellite

 

1st.
I saw a rainbow in the dark;
of animals and plants, an Ark;
a crystal ball in which I gazed
and saw the future human race.

 

2nd.
A marble tumbled round the sun
by fine gold fingers just for fun;
a gem set in a cosmic crown;
by stars, admired, as they looked down.
